About

Am-Tek was founded by Owner and President Boon Bounyaseng in 1998 as a CNC programming and Engineering consultation firm.

By 1999 Boon had several of his clients asking him to open a small machine
shop to run many of the programs he was creating for the clients. Boon saw
an opportunity to open a shop employing a couple of old co-workers and
 2 machines.
The Boom:
By 2001 Am-Tek Engineering was seeing the steady work of the early 2000's
and the business grew to 6 machines and 7 workers. Working mostly with
commercial and die casting customers in the beginning years, Am-Tek got
it's first hog out job in 2004 and Am-Tek Engineering and business took off.
By only word of mouth and delivered projects Am-Tek Engineering was able
to secure a foot hold in the competitive Aerospace Industry.
The Turn:
During the middle of the 2000's the commercial industry began to see major changes and outsourcing, recognizing the turn Am-Tek Engineering, turned it's focus to the Aerospace industry. Understanding the early tide movements of Quality Management Systems, Am-Tek invested in their ISO9001/AS9100 system. It was because of the adaptation and abilities that Am-Tek Engineering thrived in a time when most machine shops were closing shop.

The Now:
Am-Tek Engineering, Inc. is now a premier vendor for the Aerospace, Commercial and Medical Industries. Operating in a 10,000 square foot facility in Ontario, CA, Am-Tek has over a dozen machines working 20 hours per day 5 days per week. Am-Tek Engineering, is continuously growing and adapting to the changing environment
